Our Noel Gallagher gear page has been updated, and now contains the many different versions of his pedalboard throughout the years. These pedalboards range from his beginnings before Definitely Maybe to as late as 2007, and a few in between.
Noel started with humble beginnings, which is reflected in the gear he used. You’ll notice, as the years pass, the number of pedals increased, as do the quality of the equipment; most notably he moved on from Epiphone guitars to Gibson.

One type of pedal is particularly important to the sound of Oasis and Noel Gallagher, and that is the delay pedal. It was one of the only pedals he used in the early days, though it does not seem that he had any particular attachement to that particular model; you’ll notice, looking through the list of Noel Gallagher Gear and Pedalboards, that the delay pedal is often replaced with different model.
Noel Gallagher Gear – Delay Pedals
When Noel Gallagher first began with Oasis, before even the release of Definitely Maybe, he kept things simple. All that would be used was his Epiphone Guitar, his Marshall and Vox amps and but one pedal: a BOSS Space Echo.
